Particles will help you create great effects for all sorts of stuff. In this tutorial by Stuart Christensen we will use the "particle texture rate" option to to create particle systems that mimic stuff like dust, smoke, sand, bubbles, or just about anything that needs organic physical motion. By simply attaching a picture to the particles we can create some mad motion particles! This is Part 1 of a three part series about turbulent fields, gravity fields and use texture rate for particles.
