Rep. Tom Graves (GA-9) spoke with Varney & Company on Fox Business about President Obama's decision to gut work requirements for welfare recipients. "Well, there are many different ways it can be stopped. First and foremost, we've sponsored legislation to enforce this provision of the Welfare Reform Act. This is something that Bill Clinton supported and signed into law. That was the fact that when someone receives welfare and they are able-bodied that they should work. And have that opportunity to have their hard work go towards their benefits. As you have seen the President, about a week ago changed course and decided to waive those rules and those requirements and that is a major shift. It's an expansion of the welfare state."
