25 years ago the Ramones released their legendary album "Road to ruin" and the eight of October 2014,Johnny Ramone would have turned 66. To commemorate both we present you this classic interview with Johnny Ramone.

It's Re-edited and remastered from the original DAT tape, and large parts have never been broadcasted or put online before.

In 1996 the Ramones played their last ever European tour. We teamed up with Johnny Ramone in the legendary Paradiso club in Amsterdam.

Listen to Johnny Ramone as he talks about the time at CBGB's, Blondie, The Sex Pistols, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, his favorite Ramones albums and tracks, writing "Wart Hog" with Dee Dee, why he hated reunions, and retirement:

"You gotta have something else to do in life than to be in Rock and Roll band. If you need the attention, if you need all that power, you have a problem with Life.... I'm just gonna retire and think about how retirement feels. Maybe get a movie theatre I don’t know (laughs) ... something that might be fun. "
