I'd pay $2000 to be a passenger in that. Minimum 20 laps. I want my brains to ooze from my ears in pleasure from the boost.

@skvakagud No worries, it's the internet, someone always disagrees. A controller is just a means to provide input and get meager feedback at best to me, and since I prefer to be able to play in short time frames, using a wheel would just be a hassle more often than not. I usually use the hood view anyway, I found that unless the driver's wheel was moving at the exact same ratio in-car as in person, it was very disorienting/distracting to me. I play Forza with ABS enabled, but that's it.

@skvakagud To be honest, it's nothing at all to do with the wheel. I've used controllers dominantly for both, although I have an MS wheel and G25 and have used them across many games. It's the overall sensation I get from playing the game, whether it's visual/audio cues or from the physics engine itself. To me, Forza is a better representation of the racing and drifting experience I've had from the last decade on/off real tracks, where GT5 is just frustrating in its lack of realism.

@skvakagud Likewise! We'll have to play some GT5 when I get my sim cockpit setup at my new place though, it'd be fun to play GT5 with a true enthusiast. :) Feel free to message me your PS name, mine's the same as on here but I won't have the PS3 setup again until I finish moving.

Have to agree with some of the video game talk going on. Console vs. Console, Forza's physics "feel / impact" is better than GT5's by a long shot. I've been a longtime GT fan, but it's been going in the wrong direction since GT3. GT5 is some serious proof of that. I hope that simulators get better and better, but you can bet it'll never substitute hitting real tracks for me all the same.

@skvakagud The reason I find GT5 less realistic than Forza 3 is because of its physics engine though, or at least how it generates the audio/visual cues that I mentioned before. It may be more realistic for all I know, it's impossible to tell when you don't have any G's pulling at you, but the feedback I get from playing the game does not create a sensation of realism for me, cars don't seem to act/react as they should from my experience.
