Rendered in PovRay 3.6 for Windows. Took 73h, 36m, 14s. First attempt at raytracing in a long time.

The shape is defined using the included fn_noise bounded by a 20x20 cube. Source code here: http://pastebin.com/UWpqqA9q

There are a few frames where the background (a "fog" object) doesn't play well with the media-interior of the sphere. But with render times in the hours, I was feeling a bit lazy about adjusting and re-rendering.
