This is the video clip taken of Sasa's refusal to reenter the cage when I visited her after her operation. Consequently, I had to bring her home and nurse her myself.

Featured in this clip are the songs, "O come, o come, Emmanuel," "O little town of Bethlehem," "Hark! The Herald Angels sing" and "Silent night."

On Monday, Nov 9th, I took Sasa to the vet. She has had to be coaxed to eat for a couple of weeks already, instead of asking for it when meal time comes around. The night before, she did not ask to get onto my bed and For a couple of days, she did not wake me in the morning to ask for food. The vet treated the symptoms and took a blood sample for further tests.

The next day, Sasa's blood test results show a high white blood cell count. She may be having a uterine infection or parasites in the blood. An ultra-sound scan will be necessary to determine the right course of treatment.

Immediately, at noon, I closed my shop and with Suresh, guessing the way, brought Sasa to Segar Vet Hospital, without missing a turn. Surgery is scheduled for today. She's never been away from me or caged. I hate to leave her behind in a cage with no familiar faces to comfort her! Praise the Lord, anyway!

At 5.35 pm, Dr Jonathan called me to inform that Sasa's op has been successful & that I may see her. He said she might be still groggy. I closed shop at 8.00 pm & went with Suresh to the Hospital. Sasa looked well. I asked if I might open the cage. The staff gave permission, but we couldn't put her in again. I had no choice but to bring her back. She is supposed to be hospitalized & under observation for 2 days. God help me!
