I fed this one as well as my previous Copperband butterfly with DIY frozen marine mix most of the time. This combination of foods usually was made up from frozen mysis & krill shrimps with chopped shell & squid meat. Sometimes there also were bits of vitamins and garlic. Before the fish have got used to hand feeding I was leaving food for them within cavities of live rock. And even before that, with the purpose of avoiding after-arrival starvation, there were huge numbers of Aiptasia sp. anemones and duster-feeders which I introduced several months in advance to fish. Hand feeding is awesome experience, but more important to me was the fact that other fish became less stressed and learned to accept food offered in such way which gives excellent opportunity to control amount of feed.
