1993 Honda Civic Del Sol My car won't start until the Check Engine light turns off. After I turn the key, I have to wait between 5 seconds to 5 minutes, before the car will start.
Everyone I ask says it's something different... I have been told the problem is:
The distributor (replaced) The main relay (replaced) The fuel pump The spark plugs The fuel injectors
UPDATE: The check engine light came on while I was driving home today, and I got the code. 43 - Fuel supply system I found a forum that this might be a bad oxygen sensor a bad ECU.
Update: I bought a used ECU off ebay and replaced it. Sure enough, the old one had a small area on the board with melted components and a blown capacitor. So now my car starts right up every time. BUT NOW- The car won't shift out of park. Fortunately there is a manual shift lock release on the center console. So I can drive to work. Does anyone have any ideas about my 'new' problem?
