How should Internet governance be modelled to ensure that the Internet remains open, secure, and viable—and thus serves as a fundamental vehicle for global development? Sweden believes that the values of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law must guide the global debate on cyberspace.
A panel of high-level speakers debated current and future challenges and opportunities for the global governance of the Internet in this policy forum, held in partnership with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden. The event was moderated by IPI Senior Adviser for External Relations, Warren Hoge.
