About Rholdyne Lake:

Rholdyne is a third grade student at the St.Maarten Academy. She describes herself as a young, trustworthy, flexible and responsible young lady. Her greatest achievement until now is winning the first prize in a business competition. In her business plan she explains how to create electricity from waste. She's also very proud of being a PADI certified diver. In the future, she would like to become an accountant and also have her own business.

Making waste a useful object to man:

When people use garbage all they do is dump it yes because that's what we have to do right? Or sometimes people throw their trash away anywhere they feel like either on the road, the sidewalk mostly on the beach. Many people do not know that garbage can be another man's treasure. Did u know that the garbage that we use everyday can be turned into something we are in need of most? That treasure we're looking at is called Electricity.

About TEDx:

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
