Air Mercury combines classroom lectures and exercises with a computer simulation program to let its participants experience a multitude of problems facing the airline industry today.
Working in teams, participants are given the challenge of devising a business plan that will return Air Mercury, a simulated airline, to profitability and long-term viability. Participants will formulate a high-level strategies for network and fleet development, new schedule creation, branding, product definition and marketing. The simulation tool enables course participants to test and evaluate the impact of their plans and decisions in financial and operational terms.
