Nota bene:
—I'm self-taught and can't read notation, so this piece (my own composition) isn't written down: it's a collection of bits of improvisation, and I always play a slightly different arrangement.
—The piece is influenced by (i.e. it shamelessly steals textures from) Rachmaninoff (particularly the second piano concerto), Liszt (the 'Rhapsodie Espagniole') and Matt Bellamy of Muse ('Butterflies and Hurricanes' solo).
—I would have liked to rehearse it more, and it's mainly a textural piece recorded to test a couple of microphones, but I have written more melodic stuff and would like to do more of that. (Stay tuned for the latter part of the recording where the clearest melody is.)

Enjoy!
