For all things dehydrated, you must check out Tammy at Dehydrate2Store.com, and also, check out her YT channel by the same name.

Okay, I'm stuck home from Church with a semi-sick child (woke up with a 102 fever, productive cough, but feels fine) so taking advantage of the situation to get a video uploaded. (Never waste a crisis, as good 'ol Rahm says, eh?)

For some reason, I've been very hesitant to try making jerky in my dehydrator. But, I finally gave it a whirl. Now, we're all addicted to the stuff! I like it because unlike a candy bar, I can't wolf it down and actually have to taste / savor it. LOL My carnivorous children would eat it three times a day if I let them and any time they want jerky for dessert after supper instead of ice cream or brownies, that's a good thing in my mind. Husband chews on it instead of a cigar when he's working outside, so it's all good. I find myself scrouging in the freezer and/or the store for any lean cut of beef I can get my hands on now. Beef jerky -- it's what's for dinner. ha ha

So, if you've been considering making some, go ahead and do it! It's almost idiot proof (I know, because I did it).

Oh, and if you don't have a dehydrator, I included instructions for making it in the oven at the end of the video.

Enjoy and I hope you find this helpful.
