The Global Study Trips programme has been carried out at the Stanford Graduate School of Business since 1990. During the 20 years of its existence, the programme has enabled participating students to make around 140 trips to more than 55 different states. The goal of these trips is to foster meetings with global leaders from various branches of activity.
The aim of the stay in Poland was to familiarize Stanford Graduate School of Business students with Central and Eastern Europe, to compare Poland and Ukraine given a historical outline, current economic situation and cooperation in the preparations for the EURO 2012 tournament, as well as to understand Poland's role in the European Union.
