Undecided has always been one of my most beloved Dir en grey songs; music- and lyrics-wise. To be honest, I gulped when I first read that they would do a remake of it; I was scared. But when it came out on the Glass Skin single, I fell in love with this song all over again. And even more. I am glad that I could finally find the time to re-sub it.
Notes: 1) 1:02 - "Footprints disappear once. And disappear once again." I wanted to convert the image Kyo gave here, but it turned out rather difficult - it's a lot like something he comments on as he watches what happens. The waves wash across the footprints one time, before they draw back and then wash across the footprints once again. So they disappear bit by bit or one after another, like mentioned later on.
2) Just a small detail, but in the original song and the Blitz5Days live Kyo uses 'boku', the softer, normal version of the male 'I', to refer to himself. Now in the new release of Undecided and in this live he uses 'ore', the stronger, more harsh version. I guess it just seems more suitable for him now that he has matured.
3) 2:40 - Kyo sings 'nagasugiru', which actually means 'too long', but the beginning kanji is different. It's the kanji for 'flow' ('nagasu' - 'to flow'), hence the translation 'flowingly long'.
4) 2:48 - "namida mo kono kimochi no imi sae" - I used 'even' for both, the 'mo' and the 'sae', although they are a little different from each other. 'mo' is more of the 'as well' kind of 'even'.
5) 2:59 - "it drowns along with the sun" - 'it' = The tears, the meaning.
