In many companies there are two separated worlds -- public relations and social media. But both departments can enrich each other. Modern PR managers must know how to use social media to enhance effects of their work and social media managers can learn more about principles of communication and managing relations. If those worlds cooperate, they can get interesting results. But when they lock-in in their shells, they will get only misleading outputs like numbers of outputs (PR) and numbers without context (followers, likes, klout...).
