Irish Ambassador to the US, Michael Collins and his wife Marie traveled from Washington, DC, to Immaculata University to meet with history department chair William Watson, his brother, the Rev. Frank Watson, Irish history professor John Ahtes, and students and to view the remains of one of the 57 Irish workers who died during the cholera epidemic in 1832 in Malvern, PA. The skeleton of an 18-year-old man has been tentatively identified as John Ruddy of County Donegal. Ruddy appears to have been murdered, according to forensic specialists.
