Congressman Bob Gibbs (R-OH) joined House Republicans to hold a press conference to address the monthly jobs report and House-passed jobs bills that have been waiting for action from the Senate Democrats. His bill, HR 872, The Reducing Regulatory Burdens Act of 2011, is part of the GOP Jobs plan to get America back to work.
"We are sent here to do the people's work, and our plan to restore jobs will restore confidence in our private sector to grow our economy and create those jobs."
"As a freshman Congressman, it's been extremely frustrating to me that we have a plan for jobs and we pass job-creating bills, we passed HR 872, we passed a budget and more in the pipeline to send over to the Senate, and the Senate has failed to Act."
