Benetti is an Italian shipbuilding and Boat building organization situated in Viareggio, Livorno, and Fano, claimed by Azimut.
Benetti outlines and develops motoryachts, and is one of the main manufacturers of custom superyachts, having won the Showboats International magazine "shipyard number 1" honor six times in succession, the main yard to have done as such.
Established in 1873, when Lorenzo Benetti (1844–1914), purchased the Darsena Luca shipyard to establish the Benetti shipyard. The yard assembled business vessels, including angling pontoons and Mediterranean exchanging ships. On his demise in 1914, his children Gino and Emilio assumed control, and renamed the yard Fratelli Benetti. They kept utilizing wooden development, yet now manufactured maritime boats, and some private yachts. After the demise of Gino in 1927, his children Gusieppe and Virgilio assumed control over his offer, while Muarizio and Bertani helped their dad Emilio.
