Moving dirt fill at pond landing with the Perkins Diesel re-powered 1988 Bolen GT2000 with the self-leveling Kwik Way front end loader.
Had 14 truck loads of fill from the town ditch cleaning project dumped off in the spring of 2009. Separated the rear dirty fill and placed that on the bottom. In this video, I'm putting a thin layer of "cleaner" fill on top (so rototiller won't get into the real dirty fill with roots etc in it). and getting a rough grade of landing. Next step is to put good top soil for the final layer after the fill settles. This will raise the landing area about 2 foot above spring time flooding level.
The end will be a nice flat grassy area with small rocks on the bank of the landing and very large rocks bordering the edge of the landing.
Just for a note, the Willow tree "used" to be totally in the water all year long.
