Italy, a major force within the European Union, has dizzying sovereign debt issues that have set in motion another global equities crisis. According to Peter Bokvar "the party for Italy is over." This is not new information but rather we have reached the point when a long festering issue has come to a head. Italy is too great an economic power and too large a country to not lead the way towards its own solutions. This is not little Greece wagging the dog over on the fringe of Europe. Italy IS one of the big dogs. Indeed, Italy is giant part of the European (and worldwide) debt problem, and as such has enough momentum to create a major waterfall, or domino effect. But what to do, given Italy's mind-numbingly sluggish rate of growth?

Italy is too big to fail, but may be too big to save.
