Ingredients*
Cake mixture:
100g plain chocolate, broken into pieces
100g unsalted butter
200g caster sugar
200g Cream cheese (not low fat)
2 eggs
200g Plain flour
1½ Teaspoons baking powder
Pinch of salt
100g Plain chocolate chips
*When making the dirt block, remember to double these amounts to make enough for two cake tins.

Topping:
Desiccated coconut
Icing sugar
Chocolate fudge icing
A pack of Oreo cookies
A few digestive biscuites
Green and yellow food colouring

Method:
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F) Gas 5.
Step 1 (0:01): Measure out the butter and chocolate.
Step 2 (0:17): Put the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water.
Step 3 (0:51): Measure out the caster sugar and cream cheese.
Step 4 (1:18): Mix the sugar and cream cheese together with a handheld electric whisk (on high speed) until well blended.
Step 5 (1:41): Add in the eggs.
Step 6 (2:10): Add in the chocolate and continue beating until well mixed.
Step 7 (2:25): Measure out the flour, add the baking powder and salt. Mix well.
Step 8 (2:49): Add the flour mixture to the cream cheese mixture, with the whisk on low speed, until just blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 9 (3:32): Pour evenly into prepared tin.
Step 10 (3:52): Bake in preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes. A skewer inserted in the center should come out clean, or the cake should bounce bake to shape after being poked.
Step 11 (3:59): Mix together some green and yellow food colouring (becareful this stuff stains!) Mix some icing sugar with some water until thick enough.
Step 12 (4:25): Mix in the food colouring. Add more if you think it is needed.
Step 13 (4:49): Stack the cakes then pop a couple of skewers on either side just to hold it in place. Cut the edges to make it as square as possible.
Step 14 (5:05): Add the green icing to one of the layers of cake.
Step 15 (5:14): Add chocolate fudge icing all over the edges and on the top to make sure the 'grass' top sticks.
Step 16 (5:50): Mix together some green dye with desiccated coconut and add this to the grass top to create a texture.
Step 17 (5:58): Carefully lift the grass top to be place on the dirt half.
Step 18 (6:08): Cover the edges of the grass block with the chocolate fudge icing.
Step 19 (6:30): Place the oreo cookies and a few digestive biscuits into a bowl and smash them to make crumbs.
Step 20 (6:47): Place the crumbs all over the chocolate dirt block and cover it as much as you can.
Step 21 (Optional) (7:00): Place some cubecraft characters on top!
