The first game play prototypes of SPECTAC were completed in 2004. One of the breakthrough aspects was the implementation of HAVOC physics system into our CloakNT engine. This enabled physical interaction with ingame objects to be part of actual gameplay. Also we used ragdoll models for game characters and dynamic lightning, which could be influenced by a player action like shooting. This gameplay sequence shows the main protagonist, code name "Alpha", sneaking his way to the safe. His objective is to retrieve the T.U.F.F weapon prototype, deal with all opposing force and safely reaching his extraction point.
