Note : I didn't say that we use 10% of our brains but that "People often say we only use 10% of our brains". Just a popular saying to put in relief the fact that we're not using our brain's full potential. These 10% could also be referred to the active use. There are some basal activities always functioning, such as vision processing, detecting changes in sensation, hearing. But for tasks like driving, your motor and vision cortices will have more blood flow and activity (which might comprise of ~10% of the whole brain) because while driving, you can't paint, or be creative and at the same time think and solve a complex math problem etc.
The quote "it would sure seems like an awful waste of space" is from the movie Contact and not from Carl Sagan, contrary to popular belief.

Gosh can people shut up about the Bible? It's hilarious when people try to explain scientific mysteries with mythology.

Don't scroll too far down in the comments... Blah blah "Oh, the Bible has all the answers" blah blah blah debate blah blah blah "Oh, I read the Bible so none of this is mystery" blah blah... It's fucking annoying.

Science and religion doesn't mix. Whenever someone involves religion in science, people disagree.

Nicely done. Eventually I'd like to be able to play music as well as the people who do your music do. One comment, however: it's been repeatedly proven that humans use much, much more of their brain than 10%.

If you can watch this & say that religion has anything to do w/ any of these questions, you're the cancer of society. And you're holding the rest of us back.

Theists are simply lazy.  Instead of trying to solve the complexities of life, they revert to the God theory to settle the score.  " Just leave it alone, put your trust in God and every little thing's gonna be alright."

If the average person would actually study these things on their own instead of having it spoon fed to them by these so called "scientists" and the media then some of us would to find things out that went right under their noses, and find pieces that dont fit anywhere into the Big Bang theory or Evolution theory. If you are starting a campaign to discover the truth keep this in mind, there is an evil force out there, wether from the gov't or somebody else, there is a normalcy bias in society, these things will try and traumatize your efforts for true enlightenment, but also keep this in mind, the greatest heroes in society always put their life, success, and wealth on the line for the truth, regardless of what that was or wether they agreed with it or not.

God created all of this. We are just like little test dummies to God to see if it's worth making a perfect universe.
