There seem to be two schools of thought concerning blood sausage. One states that you hide whats in it by calling it something nicer. Like black pudding, as its often called in England. Doesnt black pudding sound appetizing? Sounds like chocolate.
Then theres the school of thought that asks, why hide it? The Icelanders call it slátur, which is pronounced exactly like slaughter. Now THAT is manly. Slaughter. You know what youre getting when you order a helping of slátur. Or at least you should.
