I had a $2,000 check that I needed to cash. It was drawn on a Wells Fargo bank in Florida. The check was a payroll check, that was signed by President of a national ad agency. This was my 2nd attempt to cash this check at the West Hollywood branch of Wells Fargo Bank. Assistant Manager Sevek Markossian told me they feel that the check I have presented for cashing is not legitimate. At that point, I begin recording the conversation, as I knew he was making an assessment of me as an individual. The reason I say that is because they had already verified the check with the AP Manager of this company as well as the AD REP for this company who was my client. The bank called my client 3x in order to get approval to cash this check; however they were not going to be satisfied until they spoke to the owner of this national ad agency firm. The check was taken to a different brank of Wells Fargo in Hollywood on Vine between Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard. It was cashed there and there were no phone calls made to my client from that branch. The teller said that there are certain aspects of the check that are accessed and I have passed. Wells Fargo is a very nasty corporation and hires people that are racist and use their prejudices to control banking issues. Shame on CEO John Stumpf, Sevec and the rest of the employees at the West Hollywood Branch of Wells Fargo.
