It's been some ten years since I've seen this video, but watching it now makes the rift between Phil and the other guys painfully obvious. He's talked about how he wrote and recorded his vocal parts for Trendkill in New Orleans while the rest of the guys were all together in the studio, and apparently he wasn't present for the band shots for this video either. Dude was in a really bad place at the time

I play this song, whenever I feel weakness entering my body. Then I lift cars over my head and throw them at guys in skinny jeans.

Damn I miss these guys. No one in metal today has their passion, energy, groove and emotion pouring out of em like Pantera did. Metal it seems these days is all about who can play the heaviest, fastest and most technical, completely forgetting about the groove and energy with the fans. Crank the Pantera today folks.

The Great Southern Trendkill is my favorite Pantera album because it had a lot of rage and aggression. Drag The Waters is a great song and music video. RIP Dimebag! Your music and spirit lives on! Getcha Pull!

"Drag The Waters" A smack on the wrists is the words from the mouth of the outsiders, lawyers, police A small price to pay for the dope and the guns and the rape, it should all be O.K. Your father is rich, he's the judge, he's the man, he's the God that got your sentence reduced But in the back of his mind, he well knows what he'd find if he looked a little deeper in you - in you Drag the waters some more Like never before Sweet is the slice and the lips - you're gonna have that woman - she is your favorite lay Promised you (swore) that no one had been there, and she was going to keep it that way Let it move in, you got thin, and got high, and your money went and so did your friends But she's by your side, and her smile cannot hide the premonition of the beckoning end - the end Drag the waters some more Like never before see what it is inside Drag the waters some more .Like never before
