The Web is in high gear processing dark news about Sugar Ray Leonard's past.
The retired boxing legend reveals in his upcoming autobiography, The Big Fight: My Life in and Out of the Ring, that he was molested by an unnamed former coach.
While training for the 1976 Olympics, Leonard says, a coach "unzipped my pants and put his hand, then mouth, on an area that has haunted me for life. I didn't scream. I didn't look at him. I just opened the door and ran." Leonard went on to win a gold medal for the U.S.
In the book, Leonard also details growing up surrounded by alcohol abuse, becoming a father at age 17, and his later use of cocaine.
