It would seem the Alberta Party and the Alberta Liberal Party have more in common than not. Seeming doesn't make a thing so. They don't have warm relations, but Ed Stelmach and David Swann's resignations have thrown them into the spotlight. Will they merge to take advantage of a split on the right? Will the progressive wing of the PC Party join them if, for example, Ted Morton wins the leadership? I asked executives of all three parties to discuss all of this over beer and bowling.
