"We have invented a new form of moustache photography" – Chris visits the Rochester Institute of Technoloty and Ted Kinsman shows him some cool projects that they use to inspire students and their love for photography and science. Ted is an associate professor at the Photographic Arts & Sciences department.

Peripheral streak photography, aka slit scan photography is quite different from regular photography. Ted shows his class and Chris how to use a high-speed video camera and the Processing environment to capture individual columns of 3000 frames and assemble them into a texture-map type picture. You will also learn about a brand new form of moustache photography and why those pictures have the tendency to trigger automated porn detectors.
