In this video I show you a quick and easy way to make a mini travel ironing board. This project came about out of necessity. I was leaving on a trip last week and needed a mini ironing board so I had to make one out of whatever I had on hand. This great DIY project is the result of my resourcefulness! Check out what I use as the foundation for the ironing board... if you have small children chances are you probably have one in your house already.

This is the perfect project for crafty beginners or quilters who need an ironing board that can travel with them to classes, crops, workshops, sew-ins, etc. Also, consider making one of these mini ironing boards for a young person. College students often don't have much room in their dorm rooms or apartments and this would come in really handy!
