Tom gets into an argument with the Today Show's Matt Lauer. Tom is arrogant and gets rattled when Lauer won't kiss his ass. These Scientology nuts are out of their damn minds.

Wow, I was totally unaware that Tom Cruise went to medical school and was an expert in all things relating to chemistry.  And here, I just thought that he was a self-centered, cult-following, delusional, nut-job, high-school dropout that became an actor!

Well said Tom, drugs only mask the problem.
+Jeff Jones Yeah.. masks the problem.. just like most meds for high blood pressure.. high cholesterol... .. Tom is a Fucking dumb ass... still like his movies! lol

He's not wrong though. Tom Cruise actually makes sense in with what he's saying.
tom cruise got some good arguementation.. but he loses all credibility when you know that he joined scientology..
Please tell me what vitamin can cure schizophrenia? There is room for medication in treatment as well as holistic approaches.  It is not as black and white as he has been fooled into thinking.  Many years working in psyc hospitals has shown me that some things cannot be treated any other way.  It is true that drugs are over prescribed and that's because it is cheaper and easier than behavior mod and cognitive beh methods.
So much Logic Fallacy in Tom's arguments. Just answer the damn question: If it helped her isn't that enough? No apparently not. It's got to be his way, or no way.

Tom Cruise was and is the man. I know media tried to and did talk shit about him for jumping on the coach but there is really nothing crazy about being excited.  Big Pharma that sponsors and owns most media just got mad cuz of his views.
Tom's right on this one. All he's saying is that there are alternative cures to serious issues like depression; that come without the severe and debilitating side effects that the powerful psychotropic drugs induce.  He's simply stating that there is a way to CURE those illnesses, not just TREAT them and that it can be done cost effectively.  Furthermore he's getting at the end result, a higher quality of life.  A higher quality of life in this case is feeling great, upbeat and energetic without the need for expensive and dangerous drugs.  What Tom is advocating is safer, more effective, and less costly.  It seems obvious that if a person is suffering from depression they should at least give Tom's way a try FIRST.  Because it probably will work them and save them the expense and risk associated with addictive drugs.   Call him whatever you want, even crazy people get things right once in a while.

As much as I hate his "religion" he does have a point about those drugs.
Matt was a coke addict...lol...
