I used to play this in my previous band, only I always played in in standard tuning. Of course GNR played it tuned down 1/2 step to Eb, that's why it sounds a little different to your ears, as each key, as you know, has it's own mood. I may post the end solo here in the next couple weeks, as it is one of Slash's greatest moments, and it deserves some attention. This song is always a popular request of my students. Sorry, I couldn't get the audio & video to match 100%, I'm not sure why. Thanks for looking. If you watch my left hand, you will see that I keep my pinky anchored on the G note, 3rd fret, high E string... that G is the key note in making the intro to this sound correct, as many tabs have mistakenly just suggested that it is a standard C and F chord used in the intro, it is not.
