Use your potato stamp to create interesting prints on paper of fabric!

You will need:
Potatoes
Craft paper
Acrylic paint
Paint brushes
Chef's knife
Stanley knife
Permanent marker
Addition* we found cookie cutters much easier to use

Method:
1 - Cut the potatoes in in. Place each half face down on a paper towel to reduce the moisture.
2 - Draw a design on the face of your potato with permanent marker.
3 - Trace the design using your stanley knife, cutting approximately 1/2cm deep (this is a job for adults only). Using the chef's knife, cut 1/2cum around the rim of the potato making sure not to cut through the design. Remove the cut section.
4 - Apply paint to the design. Push firmly to stamp your craft paper. Use the stamps to make wrapping paper, gift tags, cards and more!
