Sri Kulashekara Azhwar was a Chera king from 8th century AD. A devotee of Sriman Narayana, the king is considered a gem among the holy Sri Vaishnavite saints from the Bhakti movement.
Other names - Kulashekara Perumal, Koodal Nayakan, Kolli Kavalan, Kozhikkon

Note: The Sanskrit work titled 'Mukunda Mala' is said to have been written by another king Kulashekara from the Azhwar's lineage.
