The goal of "autofill: a gender study" is to shed light on an example of an everyday, often unnoticed, microaggression that operates under a larger societal system of oppression and misogyny, and to start meaningful discussions about how we can work together to create a more just society.
Disclaimer: I would like to recognize and acknowledge that although this video speaks only of men and women, gender is not a binary. I would also like to note that the term "rape victim" is not how all survivors of sexual assault choose to identify, and that any person, regardless of gender, sexual identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or economic background, can be a victim of or affected by sexual assault.
Edit: Due to oversight on my part, I forgot to include Anahvia and Kevin in the credits. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!
