Clayton Brook has around a 1500 properties managed by Places for People since the 1970s. The Clayton Brook community has felt isolated from the rest of the Chorley Borough area and this is felt especially by some of the youth in the area. This is an area of significant importance to Places for People and where a substantial amount of their resources are utilised.
Places for People have carried out a number of initiatives in the area, from funding and supporting the local Community House and community events including Community Champions in local schools, to promoting and sustaining the area through significant investment including Green spaces activities delivered by Lottery funding, as well as creating employment opportunities for customers.
Places for People have a long history of working closely with the community in Clayton Brook and want to promote the area in a positive way.
