I forget its real name... Basically, this is a brain donated to science being sliced into wafer-thin slides to be catalogued. The brain is frozen first, to let them get thinner slices. This was shown on live webcam on Dec 4 2009. The brain belonged to a man with brain damage in certain areas which prevented him forming new long-term memories, but perfectly functional in other ways. He was known as patient H.M. Look him up if you can be bothered. The whole brain-slicing took about 30 hours
