The international space station frequently appears to cross the disk of the Moon from locations around the globe. It happens very quickly (here it took about a half of a second) and the region where it can be viewed is a very narrow line a few miles in width. I used a panasonic gh2 camera to take 1080P video at 24 frames per second in ETC mode which in conjunction with my 5 inch 950 mm refracting telescope gave an equivalent focal length of about 5000mm on a 35mm full frame camera. In this video there are two full speed versions of the transit and two sections where it has been slowed down by a factor of 6. To see a composite photo of the transit made from frames of this video and a still photo of the entire moon as well as other photos you can check out http://www.facebook.com/CoryPoolePhot....
