Artwork and music by Bill Long. In this episode, Zak buys the Robot Amplifier from Zarles at the Town flea market. Lyrics: Zak saved his pennies and coins in a jar. He knew if it grew he could get his guitar. So he worked mopping floors and scrubbing the pans, until one day he earned a guitar in his hands. He found an amplifier in the market of fleas. He didn't have enough but he asked the man "Please?" Wheeling the thing home, what a surprise. When he flipped on the switch up lit a pair of eyes! Robot amplifier, won't you play along with me? Let's turn our imagination into electricity. He played it all night as the last autumn wind shook the leaves from the trees and the winter crept in. In fell the snow, deep on the leaves. and the the sky lit up purple against the black icy trees. He strummed up a tune so his soul would shine through. If no one could hear then he'd sing to the moon. He played to the stars that speckled the snow, and he'd sing to the seeds which were soon due to grow. Robot amplifier, won't you please let me plug in? I want to take it up a notch higher and get some distortion.
