Applications of Active Genetics include: facilitating genetics in pioneer and model organisms (MCRs, Copy-cat elements), dispersal of effector gene cassettes throughout disease vector and pest species via full and conditional gene drives (MCRs, trans-complementing MCRs), and systems for neutralizing and repairing possible genome damage caused by gene drives (ERACRs, e-CHACRs, CHACRs).
