Might inspire someone to get a proper version of something like this created. The concept is intended to make up for the lack of light scattering/bouncing, particularly indoors. "Before" shows the typical OA flashlight that only illuminates a patch of ground and nothing else around it; "after" shows what it looks like when you place a light source at the point where the flashlight beam collides with geometry.
Would be nice to see a robust version of something like this as a basic feature of the game.
