This 75-minute DVD contains two films featuring Tench Class submarines.

The first is a 15-minute film produced in 1949 titled "Submarine Warfare Instructions." Includes excellent footage of submarines (Irex 482 and Sirago 485) at sea, in drydock and alongside submarine tenders. Also includes footage of submariners training at New London and working on diesel engines. (Short scenes of Balao class submarines Halfbeak 352 and Tusk 426).

The second film is a 1950s Navy training video that provides a very technical (graphics, charts and schematics) overview to instruct submariners on various procedures associated with diving, surfacing, snorkeling, etc.
