The Aokigahara Forest is the most popular site for suicides in Japan. After the novel Kuroi Jukai was published, in which a young lover commits suicide in the forest, people started taking their own lives there at a rate of 50 to 100 deaths a year. The site holds so many bodies that the Yakuza pays homeless people to sneak into the forest and rob the corpses. The authorities sweep for bodies only on an annual basis, as the forest sits at the base of Mt. Fuji and is too dense to patrol more frequently.

This is one of the best interviews ive ever seen, its 20 minutes of just letting him talk and not a single word from the journalist. Now though you cant get vice journalists to shut the fuck up at all.
It says not to enter, because you can easily get lost (steps over rope)

"I think it's impossible to die heroically by committing suicide". Wise words from a humble and honest man who has seen too much of this.

Suicide does not end the pain. It passes the pain to somebody else.
Yes, suicide is final solution. And who cares about somebody else after death? Death is not horror, it's eternal rest you can delay or take early.
Suicide ends your pain by passing it to somebody else.
