As we enter the 1st anniversary of the flood, I would just like to say that during the intro monologue, I never meant to disparage the President or Oprah and I in no way meant to compare the devastation here with that of Katrina or Hati. I was simply shocked at how little media coverage we received on a National level. I am sorry if I was misunderstood or offended anyone. This is the story that didn't get told Nationally about the flood victims of the Nashville Flood in May 2010. The images are graphic, the context is raw and was shot on Friday May & 7th and Saturday May 8th, at the height of the demand and the height of the need. This disaster will take months, probably years to recover. The media has shown our tourist attractions and our country stars, but not our people. Pleas Donate!
