A popular Bajau traditional song "Manuk-Manuk Lambukun" was in concert during the Kota Belud "Tamu Besar" on the 29 October 2011. The song was performed by the original artist, Rudah Hj. Sawang ( Bajau popular artist in Sabah ). Venue : Kota Belud Town, Sabah, Malaysia.
Sebuah lagu popular Bajau ala tradisi "Manuk-Manuk Lambukun" berada di konsert semasa sambutan Tamu Besar Kota Belud pada 29 Oktober 2011. Lagu ini dipersembahkan oleh penyanyi asal, Rudah Hj. Sawang ( artis popular Bajau di Sabah ) Tempat : Padang Bandaran Kota Belud, Sabah, Malaysia. Turut mengiringi persembahan di atas pentas adalah penari-penari Lembaga Kebudayaan Negeri Sabah.
Kota Belud - The town and its people Lying on the banks of the Tempasuk River at the foothills of Mt. Kinabalu is the town of Kota Belud. The district covers an area of 1385sq km and has a population of around 100,000 made up of Bajau, Kadazandusun, Irranun, Ubian, and Chinese. This varied mix of culture and traditions results in an interesting and colourful lifestyle which certainly must be successful ingredient for its popular tamu every sunday. Modern town buildings in stark contrast to the carved roof extensions called Layang-Layang of some local houses. And of course booming businesses that give way to the tamu each weekend.
