SOUTHERN TRAIN (Rob Dokter+Stef Eijkelenkamp) performing the Chuck Berry song 'GO GO GO' LIVE at 'Le Johnny Bigouden' (some name huh?) in St.Guenole (29), Bretagne, France in may 2002.
NOTE: That part of the far west point of Bretagne is known as 'Le Bigouden' , some wordplay must've gotten in the name of the bar, COOL PLACE once! It was closed the last time i passed by .. On tour with our compadres of Mary-Lou.
On this four days tour of France we did 4 concerts ('Stade Municipal Roland Pensec' in Douarnenez named after the former Tour-de-France-crack Roland Pensec who is originally from this far western Bretagne-town and we met him backstage later - cool guy!- , 'Le Fashion Cafe' in Quimper, 'Le Johnny Bigouden' in St.Guenole and 'Le Cherokee' in Port Navalo situated on a beatiful little bay a little south of Arzon. We also did one radio-interview in the town Vannes).
The version of JJ Cale's 'Call me the breeze' recorded at 'Le Cherokee' during the final set together with Mary-Lou ended up on my second solo-CD 'Just as i am', released in 2002.
