Here’s the latest Detect Cancer Early bowel campaign, unveiled in September 2015. Can you spot famous faces – Fred MacAulay and Clare Grogan – both advocates of the Scottish Bowel Screening Programme?
While highlighting the fact that half a million people in Scotland do their test every year, it aims to encourage those who currently don’t do their test to do it as it could save their life. The bowel cancer screening test is the best way to find bowel cancer early and, if you do, you’re 14 times more likely to survive than if its caught at a late stage.
If you’re between 50 and 74, you’ll be invited to take the test every two years. Do yours and join the bowel movement.
