They say there exists a game attempted by only the bravest of souls. That game is SHARBADE.

The game is simple. Players propel themselves across the gym floor on SHARBADE boards, which are durable plastic skateboard-like devices with revolving wheels to allow for a wider variety of movements. SHARBADE is an acronym for SHoulders, ARms, and BAck DEvelopment, because you're only allowed to use upper body strength to navigate the field.

I was certainly sore for at least a week after playing this game (which was mostly all we did for two weeks) and still have two cicatrices from friction burns. Thanks, Carmichael. I'll always love and miss your class and all the injuries that came with it. I still remember hockey. And tennis. And kickball.

Complaints aside, this was an amazingly fun game. If your school hasn't bought this equipment, I'd recommend doing so. We all had a great time playing. NOTE: I do NOT own any rights to the song, "Main Theme from Chariots of Fire".

Thanks to Jared and Dante for helping me film this!
