JULY 3, WASHINGTON--Sessions appeared on FOX's America's News HQ this afternoon to push for action to take place on the budget and the debt ceiling. He discussed his proposal to require seven days for the Senate and the American people to review the budget. Sessions had pushed for the recess to be cancelled to work on these matters, but the Senate Democrat majority is still preventing such work from taking place.
Sessions noted, "We should have been working on this all year. We have gone 795 days without a budget. This is one reason why spending is so out of control. The American people did not send us here to permanently increase the size of government."
